Imaging Systems Technology was the first company in the world to adapt infrared touch screen technology to plasma displays. Major customers include Sprint, MSNBC, NBC, ESPN, and Weather Channel.
Imaging Systems Technology offers the largest selection of infrared touch screens in the world. Our highly flexible design allows for quick turnaround, which permits us to adapt to the ever-changing plasma and LCD display markets. Within weeks after a new display is introduced into the market, IST can deliver a customized touch screen solution.

Imaging Systems Technology's adaptive design also allows for rapid, low cost prototyping of custom touch screens for unique display applications. Our mechanical engineers can design a structure to fit with any plasma, LCD or projection display. Or, you can purchase just electronics to integrate into your own structure or kiosk.
Imaging Systems Technology touch screens fit attractively around any flat panel display and will not reduce viewing area, distort, obscure or dim the image in any way. Our touch screens are powder coated for a scratch resistant finish and are available in a wide variety of custom colors. Additionally, our standard touch screen bezel configuration does not interfere with the display's features such as audio, mounting, input signal, remote control, and power. This allows our panels to be easily attached and removed without voiding any manufacturer’s warranties.
Imaging Systems Technology touch screens connect to Windows, MAC, or Unix based systems via the RS-232 port, or a USB serial adapter. Our drivers allow for full mouse emulation via the touch screen input device. This permits general mouse functions such as clicking, dragging, double clicking, and right clicking. Also, the computer mouse is unaffected by the driver and performs as usual. In addition, we also offer the option of connecting the touch screen to an industrial DVD player using a DB9 to DB15 connector. Current DVD players supported are the Pioneer v7200 and v7400.
Imaging Systems Technology offers world-class customer service to go along with our cutting edge technology. We are dedicated to providing the best possible support for all of our touch screens. IST can provide phone and/or on-site technical support for repairs or custom touch screen installations.
